Power Distribution

Power Generation

Sawmill

Steel

Steel is everywhere in our lives and essential to modern society. The raw materials for steelmaking are mined and then transformed into steel using two different processes: the blast furnace/basic oxygen furnace route, and the electric arc furnace route.

Water Wastewater

Water treatments consist of removing / reducing concentration of contaminants and undesirable components so that the water becomes fit for its desired end-use. Water in municipal systems is required to meet strict water quality standards established in provincial regulations. Guidelines for regular testing of the water to ensure that it is safe to drink are also part of the regulations.

In general, municipal water systems withdraw water from a water source, treat it before it is pumped to our homes and businesses. The quality of the source water determines the type of treatment method. Wastewater is the outflow of sewage from your property that will eventually end up in the sewer system for collection and delivery to a wastewater treatment facility before it is returned to the environment.
