Description
A bend pulley is an optional component to belt scale weighing systems. The bend pulley provides a convenient interface to the conveyor belt to provide rotary motion for the speed sensor. A speed sensor installed using a bend pulley is subject to less slippage than if the speed sensor was installed at the head pulley. The speed sensor installation is easier when using a bend pulley as there is more room than is often available when the sensor is installed at the tail or snub pulley.
